they work but you have to download all your photos to view them full size.
 
I use one on my mini iPad as well.. Just throw it in my backpack and download the pics to my iPad and clear the card and go on to the next cam...
 
how do you down load them. cord? it doesn't have a card reader does it? I haven't opened mine, as it is a present

Be careful with the non-oem card readers, I have had two and the ipads don't seem to like them. Both worked for a short period. Well worth the money for less aggravation to get the applied sd reader. I use this to view my trail cam photos although I rarely take it to the field. I can then organize them on my ipad in folders and easy to delete.
