I just use the 25 lb mineral blocks at tractor supply. Also used trophy rocks but the deer like the cheaper tractor supply block just as well if not better.
BTW, don't let anyone tell you deer will not use a salt lick [mineral lick] in the winter i've been hunting a small wheat, clover plot with a salt lick at one end and the deer are hammering it.
Well Trophy Rock works best on one of my places and I cant tell a difference in usage between cheap salt blocks and TR on the other so yeah. Big 6 trace mineral from Tractor Supply has given me good results and is like 6 bucks.
I personally use TR and sometimes Deer Cane for whatever reason. Checked one of my sites this past weekend and noticed the deer are hitting it hard right now.

So you can't use 3 day harvest? I don't hunt over any of my mineral licks or sites. I do hunt a small food plot and the trails to and from fields with food plots and mineral sites.
I have tried a lot of different minerals and while Trophy Rock does work good, I get the best results from a plain white salt block. I usually use the red trace mineral block because it has other minerals in that might possibly be good for the deer. There is no proof it helps but as long as it is just minerals and not medicated don't see how it can hurt. If paying the high price for Trophy Rock doesn't bother you then I would use it because it is all natural.
I have better luck out of trace mineral blocks. Deer Cane is worthless to me. I put out some a few years ago and the deer just walked right by it and didn't care. The deer cane black magic didn't work either. I can't remember what brand the little blocks are. They're the ones that are flavored like apple, corn, etc. I've had good luck with them.
