Millet scopes?

Does anyone have or had experience (good/bad) with a scope from this manufacturer?

I have a chance to purchase a TRS-1 for a really great price, I was thinking of putting on my .243 coyote rig.

From what I have read, it has great reviews as a mid range quality scope, the only downfall in the ratings was the quality of the glass(rated to equal a Leupold VX-2)otherwise it got top ratings.

I have a Millet DMS 1-4 on my AR. I love the reticle, its a MOA dot with a donut around it, and its also illuminated. It has held zero so far, but I have honestly only put 150-200 rounds through it so far. It is lacking optically, I would not even put it close to a Leupold VX2(which I have 3 of for comparison). For my purposes on my AR, I dont mind the optic quality, its plenty good enough for the ranges and uses that I would need an AR for, and I like the power range and size for an AR.

I have this exact scope and other from Millett and this is a great scope for the money. This only issue I see with mine is that if you crank up the magnification to max is blurs the glass slightly. I will go to 25 power versus 26 and everything is clear and crisp. I think that they are as good if not better than anything you will get from bushnell or nikon for sure and for less money.

i've had two and they wouldn't hold zero. btw millett is a subsidiary of bushnell
