They're really comfortable but awkward to carry and they leave you exposed on the front of a tree if you don't have something to hide behind. Also, dont overlook that the latch disconnects so you don't have to fish the strap through the clamp. I use the strap to hold the seat folded in addition to the little bungee. I have a blanket I fold up in it when I'm carrying the seat and it works really well.
 
Love my millennium seats. I have 3 working and 1 cracked. Don't lift seat while it is secured tightly to tree.

These things weigh like 3 lbs. All you do is sling it over your head and let it hang on your side. Face the tree spikes toward the outside. You can move through timber and brush fairly quite with the thing.

I do wish seat was camo. They have some mossy oak camo ones.

I have been picked off by deer sitting in it, but probably would have been picked off anyway sitting on ground.

I bought all of them when they were like $60 and used some discount coupons as well. Now they are double that...still worth it.

If you sling your rifle, just take care not to bang your expensive scope on the aluminum.

I sling extra clothes like coveralls or a jacket on the seat under arm. I often walk to stand drinking my coffee and then store trash inside the seat on way out.

I have thought about making some accessorie items to secure to it, but that's what pockets are for I guess. It would be nice to secure a collapsible shooting stick to it, but my knees seem to want me to use it as a walking stick.

Also, you wrap the tree strap around the unit to secure it. Insert the strap through the sling and secure it.

It just takes a few sits and you will be able to attach and take down very quietly. My kids have learned to use it and figured out that it is much better than the ground.

On juvenile hunts, you can hang on same tree together. One watches one way and one the other. My daughter and I shot a 140" buck out of it this way.

I have attached it to large trees or small saplings. Sit low for better concealment..sit high if you need to stand often as well. Love it...
 
I worked for Millinneum for years, and latched on to the Tree Seat as soon as it came out. The strap on mine is about worn out now, kinda slick and slips on some trees. But it sure beats sitting on the ground, especially in the TN hills, where you are on a slope. I strap it on my backpack and hike into areas that I want to check out, before I tote in a stand. One of the essentials in my arsenal of tools!
 
I keep one in my truck all deer season. Every chance I get I brag about these things. I killed a 165 inch buck at 15 yards with a bow with it this year.
I carry a hand saw, and just brush in the trees I latch onto. I've had such good luck with these things since I started using them. It's quick, easy, effective, versatile, and super comfortable. I'd rather sit in that than any blind, ladder, or hang on that I have in terms of comfort.
I've killed many bucks, and had more deer than I can remember inside 15 yards sitting in it. I can't stress how much a little brush helps to hide you against the tree though.
 
I have 2 of them and a cushion for one. No problems for at least 10 years. I carry mine by the bar under the front. When I quarter the deer in the woods, the bag of meat goes inside the seat and again, I carry it out by the bar under the front.

If I'm hunting where there are no suitable trees, I take my millennium chair. The treeseat weighs 4 pounds and the chair weighs 7.

Where is the company located?
 
I've seen these years ago and forgot about them. I take my turkey chair when hunting on the ground it costs about $35 at Walmart. It raises your butt off the ground about an inch or two. You can sit anywhere, because it has a back, but I usually put a tree behind me for extra support.

This would be a great alternative. you'd be a little higher up too. I guess that could be a good and a bad thing. Looks comfortable.
 
I have two of these and I really like them. I have a friend who believes this is the best hunting tool that he has ever purchased. I agree with comments about being picked off if in the open unless you back into cover, brush in, or use a portable blind (check out the NUKEM blinds).
 
No luck with deer but comfort wasn't a problem!!!!

I've carry a cheap stool I bought at Walmart years ago in the hunting section. Has a strap throw it over my shoulder and have a seat anywhere I want. But a tree seat is probably way more comfortable and a good idea.

Same here. I like being lower to the ground so typically use the turkey chair when hunting off the ground but the millennium tree seat is comfortable too.

I bought a hawk tree seat that ratchet straps around the tree and has a swivel bracket so that I can mount it at any angle. It also has a 360 swivel, I am now solely hunting with it. I love it.
