Has anyone tried one and do you like it? Looking into a lighter run and gun settup. I'm liking the looks of the m7.

My take.....
They weigh more than the specs given on them. You can't cam lock them like other stands so I'd recommend using the second strap. They are comfortable.
The Novix Helo or LWCG are both great options. I have a LWCG .5 . If you want the most expensive the Beast stand weighs 6 lbs

Ive got one and I love it. Its my go to for sits in the 4 or 5 hr max range. My only complaint is the platform size, it seems a touch small. But in all fairness minimum platform size will help with weight. Seems to be built well and is silent in the tree. Mine has never creaked or squeaked. Overall Id recommend one

I've read where some people suggest using a second strap to quiet it down and that they didn't like the receiver mount it comes with.

I have a lone wolf assault and it is pretty nice, I think my whole set up is around 20 pounds once I add my sticks. I went on the trend and got a saddle this year. Predator xl platform and cruzr xc harness and I love that thing. Both have a time and place but for all day sits my saddle blows everything I have sat in out of the water, besides an office chair in my shooting house. Only complaint about the saddle is my tendency to sort of sway back and forth. Lone wolfe seat is uncomfortable sat in it one time for 12 hours and couldn't feel my butt for two days.

Ill agree with the stock mount. I bought the Millenium mount with the ratchet strap. Stock one has a chain vs the nylon ratchet strap. I have used a second ratchet on the base, not so much for sound benefit but it locks the stand to the tree like the tree grew it lol.
