I was wanting to do a side by side comparison of the M60U and the /monster 150.
Don't know if I want the seatback from the 150 in order to keep tighter to the tree, especially when standing up and turning to shoot..
But will I feel confident standing up and turning when I have to on the smaller M60U platform?

There is a pawn shop store by Elliots Boots off Western Ave that has a camo Millenium M100 for $150. At least they did a couple weeks ago.
 
I just got an M 150 from Redds on Amazon for $228 with no tax and free shipping. It's my second 150. Loved hunting out of it last year and decided to get another so I will have two setups ready to go. If you are planning on carrying the stand long distances you might go with the M 100U to save on weight. The foot rest on the 150 and the larger size is nice on long sits! Distance from the tree wasn't an issue for me.
 
Millenium loc ons are very comfortable and well built stands, I own a couple myself. That said, BE CAREFUL and ALWAYS put a strap on the bottom of the stand well below the bracket to secure the platform to the tree. While only the bracket is attached the stand is secure from falling but the bottom of the stand WILL swing out from the tree side to side if not secured. Not a big deal once you know this but scared the heck out of me while hanging one in ILL a few yrs back. Ive owned and hunted out of dozens of loc ons of every variety and this is the only one Ive ever had do this! I normally always put a 2nd strap on all my loc ons anyway so no big deal but just be careful until that 2nd strap is secure.

Decided to go with the M60U for a lighter and tighter stand.
Will post my impressions as I hope to make good use of it this season.

Dang. That's expensive. I honestly think my Hawk Helium XL is about as good a stand and costs half that. Only thing it doesn't have is the leveling feature. I noticed that Academy Sports had them on sale for $105 yesterday.
