Four questions or so. In order to hunt migratory birds you have to add the certification to your lic which is free. And answer the questions. Right? How about for a lifetime lic holder how do you add it and do you do it annually? Then how about hunting Farm Owner License exempt is it required?

Then to hunt waterfowl you need a federal stamp correct?

The last time I hunted waterfowl was in MS in the 80s. We bought fed stamp at the post office stuck it on back of lic Not sure what to do if I buy this property that has birds on it and later decide to hunt LOE. My son has a lifetime lic so I want to make sure we get this right. Thanks

Lifetime Sportsman license holders and landowners hunting on their own property are exempt from having the Migratory Bird Permit (page 8 in the HG).

There is no exemption for the federal waterfowl stamp. It does not have to be attached to a license, but must be signed in ink across the face to be valid.
