I don't complain much about prices or availability of items.. what gets my goat is small print and gotcha charges. Buy it or don't is my motto. I was sent a coupon code for $35.00 off. I put together an order for about $350.00 went on the computer and the code was denied. So I shopped around and ordered my items form another company. A few days passed and I received an email from Midway USA asking if i had a problem placing my order. I explained in a series of 3-4 emails what happened. They urged me to place my order again so I came up with a new order. I tried it again the computer would not accept the code for the discount. I called this morning and got a customer service rep who said what I ordered did not qualify because it was on sale.
I went back to the email that had the coupon code and after clicking three different links. I came to a tiny little aster-ex that stated valid for regularly priced items. I think it is deceptive and petty for for them to hide this info in the small print.
Why can't people be straight shooters and not hide this info.
I called and told them to remove me from the email and catalog list.
Larry Potterfield is not the man he represents himself in the commercials if he has to hide behind a bunch of small print.
I shot him an email ...I know he will ignore it, but if we all deal with deception like this ...maybe it will change.
