fish have been biting, caught a few, nothing special, but I was fly fishing with mainly carp flies.

Most notable fish that I can think of right now are the longear sunfish, they are on the bed now, and the brightest colors you will ever see all year. If you get a lure into a bed without spooking them, they will bite. Otherwise they will just sit there and ignore your bait. Trout magnets, jigs, flies, etc are great ways to catch em.
 
A day or so after all this rain, the Jones up in Cheatham Co. should be ideal for the bigger smallmouth on a 1/8-oz, black buzzbait.
