Didn't make it , after 8 straight days Im whupped.
I set till dark, after all the work hours I've put in this year I'm just enjoying being in the woods. Deer or no deer!

I got to see the big 8 come in yesterday morning around 8:15AM and he walked within 60 yards and veered to the left instead of going right and coming right by me. I am still bow hunting so never got a shot, but it was an awesome weekend to be in the woods! I tried grunting and snort wheezing but I don't think he heard it and just kept on steadily walking past me. Saw 2 of the biggest bucks on the property 2 days in a row. I am off this Thursday and Friday and supposed to go to Catoosa for the gun quota hunt but all of my target bucks I had on camera there are dead and were posted on the book of faces, so I think I will skip that and just keep hunting my East TN property and hope I get one more opportunity at the big 8. Weather and Temps are looking to be prime Thursday through Sunday.

Haven't posted in a long time. Use to run with head dogs here on Tndeer but have lost touch with them.
I will be hunting the quota hunt this week and can only hunt Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. Any help/info would be appreciated. I am nursing a broken leg so this will be tough.
