Mid TN Fishing Spots for Kids

Looking for kid friendly suggestions for trout or bass fishing in Mid Tn that don't need a boat please. thanks in advance!!

Trout fishing would be the Caney Fork. Some bank area. TWRA has a link for bank fishing spots in TN. Some are good, others are worthless. Have checked a few and scratched them off the list. Just thought, below the dams might be good. Make sure the kids have PFD. Or a state park. Good luck, good fishing and tight lines!
