never know. i went last weekend for an evening hunt and counted 20 on the drive there in the fields eating between 12:30 to 1:30 got in the stand and only saw 7, they are moving mid day here

Deer don't move much when it's warm. A week ago I went and pre-sunrise it was 58 degrees. I ended up only seeing 21 deer.

I ain't seen 21 deer in probably 3 years.

I ain't seen 21 in the last two years combined, guys in the club next to me were rabbit hunting, they did run a button buck to me but that was it

Oh and Mike there is a huge difference in where we hunt at

I recently moved to Nashville and now have a 2 hour drive to our farm. I now get up at my normal time and drive back to the Jackson area. It gets me to the farm around 8am. I just hunt from 8 til dark. I have seen a bunch of deer around 11 am this year. I think 20 yrs of getting out at 10:30 and going back at 2:30 patterned our deer. I just couldnt break with the norm until i had to drive 130 miles to hunt. Trying something a little unusual is a good thing sometimes.
