Thanks for all the replies and likes guys! The Lord has truly blessed me. Through the years Ive hunted as many as 6 states in a spring but life, work, injuries and old age eventually catch up to us all.
33 years ago I got injured at work and broke my back. being young. broke and with 2 small kids at home, I pushed through it and kept going. Then 3 years ago something back there slipped and I was ALMOST unable to move. After all the xrays, MRIs, etc..... they found the problem but it took 3 months to get there and by then I had regained some function. The neurosurgeon advised me to keep going as long as I can before having surgery and thats what Ive been doing.
3 years ago 200 yards was as far as I could walk so it took me almost all season to kill my birds. 2 years ago was somewhat better and last year I was able to move around pretty good and hunted 4 states. This year, PRAISE BE TO GOD, its still holding together and Ive been blessed to be able to hunt 3 states and Mexico. Theres not a day goes by that I dont thank the Lord above for seeing fit to let me keep going and I give him all the credit and take every opportunity I can to share with people just how good our Lord is!
