I watched it. I felt like it was a bunch of bull his math just didn't add up even with the Chinese virus. Ammo was low in March they should have rebounded by now! I think they have contracts with the gov that we "common folk" aren't previ too. When 22s were sold out years back its because the government had a contract with manufacturers. The government had switch to training alot with 22 caliber on alot of things!

What government agencies would be training with 22's? I wasn't aware of any government agencies having that many 22 rimfire training guns.

All you have to do to understand the 22LR shortage of recent years is a little math. Figure that total US production is something like 15 million rounds a day. That sounds like a lot until you calculate that it's only 30,000 of the standard 500 round bricks. Now spread that out evenly to all 50 states in the US. That's 600 bricks per state. Looking at Tennessee that's just a bit over 6 bricks per county per day. Throw in a ton of shooters looking to buy up every round they can find to resell at triple price to their fellow shooters and it's easy to see how it there was such a shortage for so long. Same thing is happening again with all ammo, which isn't produced in even remotely the same quantities. If shooters would buy a little more than they need when supply is plentiful these shortages wouldn't get so bad.
