Its 2 yrs old. MP6 I think. I basically have left it in my truck whenever its not on a tree so I will always have. Gonna put it out yesterday and basically the batteries melted. Changed batteries but no dice. She wont come on. My fault totally.
 
So the heat plus the batteries were the culprit, correct? FWIW, I would always remove batteries when not in use. Over time, they can leak and damage your internals and result in the same outcome, even without the summertime temps.

Could have been the internal battery that keeps date/time was the culprit(if it has one) and not the main ones.

I had a battery leak on me several years back but it didn't ruin the camera. After some research on other hunting forums at that time, I realized other folks had batteries leak excessively during storage and kill the camera too. Now I rarely leave batteries in a camera for more than a week or so if it's not being used or going to be used.
