Food Plots Measuring Wheel / Survey Wheel - Got One?

I'm wanting to get a measuring wheel or some call them a surveying wheel and I was wondering if any of you had used any and had any recommendations. This will be for "off road" use, measuring plots, fields, marking various distances outdoors. I'd like to spend between $50 - $75 max. I knew this anyway, but I also will NOT buy one with a digital display after reading various reviews. So, I'm looking for an analog counter. Any recommendations?

For about the same price you might find a used GPS unit that can be used to measure acreage.

Yet another option would be to use an online mapping software with a distance/area calculator (this would only apply if you could see the fields from a satellite picture, so that you could tell what you were measuring).

I believe Google Earth will allow to you draw lines (or shapes) to measure length (or area).

Could this work for you instead?

I don't think so. I'm going to get a Keson RR318N.

Google Maps with allow you to use the ruler. Google it and there is an interactive tutorial showing you how to use it.
