I don't imagine they're doing that type of surgery unless they know its going to help. That's a tough surgery to go through and a lot of time under anesthesia. That shoulder will probably be cakewalk by comparison.
 
Well my neck was done from the front, Thank God. If they had to go in from the back I would not have had it done.

Shoulder will suck lol I am almost the bionic man. 2 knee replacements and 1 hip replacement. Not much left to go lol. Work hard play hard and pay the price later lol.

I am ok with it.
