This morning on my way to work I noticed a little buck by the pond. My dad just text there is a little buck by the pond and wasn't scared of him and didn't run off. Just stood up and walked a little. When I get home I'll see if he is still there. The pictures my dad sent are off his iPhone and ate Live Photo's so I can see him move for a minute and he looks like he is shaking some

If I think that is it do I call the GW?

Deer doesn't look very poor or "wasted". Probably EHD but we will look at every deer through the magnifying glass from now on.

What county?

Dickson
Hickman and Dickson seem to have been the hotbed for EHD this year
Yep....We are in Hickman and it's been devastating

Seems theres been quite a few deer killed this way, but many areas still have a good population.

Update. I missed him last night but found him dead at the pond. No visible injuries

Sad. Did you contact TWRA and ask that they test him?

I called this morning and reported. The TWRA site does ask you to report them. They sent a basic email with an explanation of EHD.
