Anyone here goin? Been to the event before? Curious about the atmosphere. I don't drink and don't plan to stick around for the after party but wondering what the crowd is like. Family friendly for the most part or rowdy?

My friend went one last year and said it was a lot of fun. I don't remember where he went, either CO or TX/OK, but he said it was a cool experience.
Good to know. Is it a "party crowd" or more about serious archery? Planning to take some fellas from my church and none of us are into that scene. Not judging and everyone can do their own, just not for me. Did a Warrior Dash several years back and was pretty shocked at the atmosphere since I had my family with me. Been a lil wary of events since then.

I talked to my buddy and he said the two he went to were family friendly. Does anyone know where the one in the "southeast" will be held?

I'll tell you what its like. Our group that consist of 3 adults and 2 youths have been to everyone they have held in Tennessee and are going again this year. What you'll find is that the courses are laid out to push the shooters physical ability, skill, and equipment to their limits. Campground is full of people relaxing and having a good time. There are several vendors that will be set up but this is a shoot not a show. What you wont find is courses full of walking bill boards, flat easy to navigate trails, clear clean shot opportunities, etc. This aint 4H. NASP. nor S3DA. Its 100% designed for archery hunters with real world shot with real world snakes, ticks, chiggers, and leaves that'll make you scratch in your sleep. Have no idea what family friendly is to others but to our family its fine. Best if your unsure is youtube the events

Should've been more pointed in my ask. Is it a booze filled event?

No sir it's not a drinking event. That probably takes place in the campground after the shooting. I may have sounded a little blunt but quickest way to a point is a straight line. If you go take water (save bottles to refill) and snacks that go easy on the stomach but provide energy.
