Had the family in Owensboro this past few days to celebrate with the in-laws. Cranked off several hundred rounds of all kinds on Christmas day, then today we went to Whitaker's.

My 4 year old found all kinds of guns that "daddy should buy" His particular favorite for himself was a camo'd Cricket .22. As we were getting ready to leave I spotted a short stubby looking rifle. I reached down and picked it up.

AAC 300 Blackout. I let him hold it and he looked at me with big round eyes and said "Daddy we need to get this for me to hunt deer next year!"

They do got some guns in that place, I go there a couple times a year just to look and usually end up taking one out the door. Last one was the H&R handi bull barrel in 25-06 for my grandson to use. $199.00 regular $250.00

Me too have a yearning to go now. That place is like a kid going into a candy store for me.
