I bought a half dozen reds and a half dozen blues last year to try both out and compare. The reds are a little heavy for my preference. They flew straight and seemed to have good energy down range. I liked the blue streaks better though. JMO...

I shoot the reds and really like them! Kinda high but you def get what you pay for, a great arrow! The Cadillac of hunting arrows IMO...I shoot the 350's out a PSE evo

After not hunting for several years, I decided to get back into bow hunting. With the improved technology and materials, I bought all new equipment. My new bow is set on 52 pounds considering that I'm 68 years of age. My fps is much faster than my old 60# Bear from 20 years ago. I tried a few inexpensive arrows, but finally settled on a dozen of the Maxima Red 250's. I'm very happy. I'm practicing with Muzzy MX-3's 100 grains and I'm good out to 40 yards (as far as I've shot) with no difference between the Muzzys and field points. I'm sure I would be happy with other quality arrows, but having not spent money on archery equipment in many years, I wanted quality arrows. The Reds with my setup are perfect.

I got a doz at a show after shooting aluminum since they came out about 40 or so years ago . Shooting the 250s out of my 60 lb Hoyt element . Really picked up some speed . Shooting slick trick 125 mags . Will try it out on an elk in about 4 weeks ,,,,I hope .
