I've got a mauser that I acquired thru trade. Its been sporterized but that's bout it. The trigger is bad but not unbearable. I've been looking at getting a bold optima replacement. Anyone have any experience with these or other suggestions. I'm also wanting to replace the safety. It's a pain and won't allow me to lower my scope. The trigger I want has a safety built in similar to rem 700 style. I'd prefer a mod 70 safety style but those are a lot more expensive. It's a nice gun but far from a safe queen. My plan is after installing the new trigger and safety I plan on leaving the original safety on and in the fire position. I could get a new bolt shroud and eleminate the hole for the safety but those are expensive as well. I'm sure some of you have more knowledge and ideas than I do. Any suggestions would be appreciated
