It's hard to find info because nobody fishes for carp. Google search turned up nothing. The state record common carp was caught in marrowbone lake in 1997. A 53 lb mirror carp. That was about 17 years ago. I can't find any info on common carp being seen or caught in the lake. I know there are tons of grass carp up in the coves, I have seen them myself. Does anyone know of any common carp that have been seen or caught in there? Shot in the dark I know, but I'm trying to see if I can find any info. I don't want to go drive an hour to set out a bunch of lines for several hours if there aren't any big commons anymore. I don't care much about the grass carp in there because I can go places much closer to home for them. I'm looking for unusually big commons like I was seeing in dale hollow, without the 2.5 hour drive.
