MARLIN 39A

Well my wife and daughters have started shooting with me. Their gun of choice is my Marlin 39a. wife loves the encore 22-250 also. I was thinking about getting a second one. Dad bought mine about 1982 or so. I know they were expensive then but WOW have u seen how much they are now!!!!!

I did some research and the 39a is the longest produced shoulder fired weapon ever. been made ever since 1891. pretty neat and dang do they shoot!!!!!

Yep, I got lucky and found mine at a yard sale for $90 in the 80's. It was made in 1962 but it still looks almost brand new. I'd hate to pay for a new one with what they cost now.
It was one of Annie Oakley's favorites for her shows in the 1890's.

Yep they have gone up so has everything esle,would be nice to have that rewind button some mentioned around here.
