That was the big box store 336 version. It was made to be a lower cost model. Similar 30as. It doesn't appear that they're selling for good money now due to the "marlin shortage". 700 bucks and up on gun broker

only worth what someone will pay for it. Don't matter what gun broker says or any other place. But that will give you a ball park.

I sod one in January with a Nikon scope for $1050. It didn't spend more than a couple days in the woods though. I think you couple land around $800 at a gun show.

Worth a lot more to keep the gun and pass onto some young relative to get them started hunting. I've sold guns with a bit of history in the past and always regretted it later.
