My brother-in-law is buying 67-acres outside Tracey City. Can any of you from that area give me an idea of deer/turkey populations?

It's rough in those areas for sure. Heck I border Grundy in Seq and it's bad trying to keep thieves, methheads, poachers and just random trespassers off my place as well. Must be those mountainous areas and the folks around there. :)
 
Yes, there must be something in the water, because there's a ton of people in that area who are kinda crazy.
I drove thru a town called south pittsburg several years ago, there was a stabbing or shooting, and the roadside was covered in blood. I think it was a family feud of some kind.

This ^^^^ but there is some good hunting there though . I was on a lease there for one year and it was loaded with deer , I just didn't hunt it much . It was on the south side of 24 last exit before you head up Montegle going west .

Yes there is good hunting there. My lease ran beside 24 going off the mountain.
 
I killed my largest typical whitetail ever on the side of the mountain in Marion. It has some studs but you have to work for them most of the time.
 
I have 300 Acker to my self close to Tracy city. Adequate deer very few turkey and side by sides every where and I don't own one lo
