Marine carpet

Where would be the best place to buy new carpet for a boat?

I have a few spots that are pretty warn and I also want to build a casting deck for the front end too.

Man don't like having to cast from the bottom of our V bottom.

Thought I would build the deck then cover it as well as the rest of the boat.

Unless you're wanting something special, Lowes sells a few different kinds. I bought some to wrap the new bunk boards with a couple months ago. Wasn't the nicest I've seen but wasn't bad quality either.

I bought some there also. It was brown been on my trailer boards 6 or 7 years now.

Lowe's for the carpet. I use 5/8 marine plywood for the decks when I build one.

Just out of curiosity I was gonna look at Lowes website and get an idea of how it was sold, colors etc.

Can't find anything but outdoor carpet tiles?

What am I doing wrong?

"Marine carpet" search doesn't bring anything up.

If you can find it, I would get a mat, much better than carpet and easier to keep clean and cooler in hot weather on bare feet.

I hate carpet in a boat. Holds dirt/sand/slime.... which blows back into your eyes when driving. It also holds water that will rot your decks out.

Better to get a mat of some sort. I knew a guy who put those spongy waffle matts down like they have in commercial kitchens or weight rooms. He loved it. Soft, non slip, and when he got home, just hosed em off and draped over the side of the boat. Dry in 20 minutes.

I think it's outdoor carpet instead of marine carpet on the rack Ruger.
