March 1st shed report

Yesterday I shed hunted a little over 4 hours. I saw many deer, mostly does. Found 3 sheds, but only 1 was fresh. I saw at least one buck with both sides, and another buck with one side. Of the antlerless deer, I could not get close enough to tell if some of them had sores on their heads. I did see one group of 9 does. The buck with both sides was running with 3 other deer, too far to tell if they were does or shed bucks. Most of the deer I saw were bumped as I walked thru the woods so I saw a lot of white tails.

So my conclusion is that for the area, bucks are starting to drop more but we got a little time before the bulk of them drop. But it's just a guess

I picked up a HUGE shed (70+ inches) on the 28th and only seen a few deer but no bucks. Yesterday on the 1st I found a 4pt shed (50+ inches). I did see a group of about 15 bucks. 4-5 had dropped both and the rest had both sides.

I pulled my cameras this morning and had 4 bucks in one picture this morning in the snow. All of them had both sides. Two of the bucks were decent size ones. Also I did have pictures of some others that had already shed at least one side.
