Mallard machine

Figured I might as well build one.
Got two trolling motor motors from members on here. :D

Got to picture it painted black too.
Takes about 5 minutes to set it up and attach the decoys to it.

Looks like a cool set up , take a video of that in action if ya don't mind . I've bought a mallard machine this year to try as I hardly have any spare time at all for projects right now . That looks like it'll look good when in operation

We made a couple smaller versions of them last year. I saw the video on Facebook of the decoy spreaders on jerk strings. Instead of paying 50 bucks for them we made ours out of old arrow shafts, bungee chord, 3/0 swivel clips, and a $1.50 hockey puck from dicks. Folds up pretty and the arrow shafts had just the right bounce and action to give each decoy it's own direction. I love making up home made alternatives to expensive hunting gimmicks

How are you keeping the sections of pipe together? The up/down motion will eventually pull them apart if you don't pin them somehow.....

Gonna drill holes through them and use a D shaped pin to lock them in place.
