Need to sit down and research every pic time what day of week the direction of travel and guess where to climb a tree based off terrain and environment.....if he is coming out right after dark id set up towars the direction his butt is facing if he came by at 5:30 id set up that direction the distance away from that camera that i think it takes a feeding deer to travel 45 minutes that way he comes by in daylight.....sometimes terrain will not allow you to move that amount but youd have to judge on the fly

Thinking the same thing. Try to get back in where he's coming from and catch him before he gets to the field if possible. Chances are pretty good that he's standing at he field edge a few minutes until dark.

Good luck!

Nah, pay off a doe! Free corn for a year!!!!!!

Good luck, I can image how it must feel knowing he is out wandering and actually somewhat patternable[after dark].

That's what we waiting on, a doe to get him killed. He's got several does to breed and he's ran several bucks off. Only tolerating a few young bucks thats with him from time to time.

Thanks for the tips guys.. But we been on him since July and we are being safe and waiting for his little window of "stupidity".. Making moves now may push him out for good. So moving and changing setups are out of the question. We have several stands hung for rut and thats where and when we hunting him.. You can't bounce around and pressure a mature buck like this. Best thing is wait for the rut now, we've been risky a few times and didn't kill him. Not taking anymore chances with this one. Careful is the key, especially with one thats been around a few years..
