Grunted in my absolute best this morning. Stopped about 15-20 yards quartering away. Squeezed off a shot and he kicked hard. Took off and then I saw him casually trotting through the pines. No blood where he was standing. Definately afraid I put one in his gut. No smell of gut but just have a feeling.

Good luck, you may have hit him better than you think. give him some time and go look hard, I hope you find him.

Last year I heart shot a doe she went over 100 yards. If he did the mule kick he's dead. Go find him

Blood trail ended up running out about 30 yds from the spot I shot him. Wasn't much few spots here and there.
