Anyone here have or tried one? I see they have the Sporter and V3 model with the V3 being the high end and significantly more expensive than the Sporter. If you have the Sporter what is your thoughts on it, some reviews said it seemed cheaply made?

I own the sporter and have not had any issues with it. Its very simple to set up. Just strap it to the end of the barrel and turn it on. I think the thing I like most is that if you are at a public range, you don't have to wait until the range is cold to set it up and then make everyone wait until you are done.

me and a friend of mine went halfers on a used V2 off accurateshooter,,it works better than any chrono I ever used but it will change your zero ,,I can deal with zeroing after use for the ease of setup and use in any light,,

Thanks for the real world reviews. I think the sporter will do all I need as just need it for load checking and development. Also like the setup and not having to have a tripod and setting up down range.
