Belichick answered a question about Jones and Newton after the 0:45 second mark.

That's a good one. Belichick is always an interview delight.

Belichick career is 54-58 without Brady. The Brady-Jones comparisons are quite laughable. While neither are dual threat QBs, Brady will have better arm talent after he finally retires at age 55 than Jones does at 23. NFL windows aren't Alabama windows. Just ask Tua.

With Paul Bryant, Jr. 165-23 or 0.877 winning percentage (6 national championships)
Without Paul Bryant, Jr. 106.59-1 or 0.638 (1 national championship)

Ok, respectable. More than respectable.

Just remember this. Go research the Paul Brown coaching tree. Saban is a twig in that forest. Shula, Collier, Ewbank, Walsh, Noll, Knox, Ryan, Holmgren, Fox, Dungy, Perkins, Parcells, Coughlin, Cowher, LeBeau, Schottenheimer, Knox, Ryan, Dungy, Gruden, Shanahan, Peyton, Arians, Tomlin, Belichick, Saban. And I left out a lot of names. The entire NFL is a Paul Brown coaching forest.

And it all leads back to the Massillon Washington H.S. Tigers, even though the Hall of Fame and Stadium is on the grounds of the hated rival Canton McKinley Bulldogs.

You can have today. We have forever.
