my buddy caught this fish early sunday morning. it was right at the 8 lb mark. he's kinda funny about some things, that's why i blurred his face out. only had a couple hours to fish then it was off to church. had a couple more about half that size. it was one of them days that made you wish you could stay out all day.

only had 18" rule and we guessed it would have been over 23" but not by much.

that would be a good guess but i can't say for sure cause he don't like this forum stuff much. he's afraid i might give up too many details and somebody might learn something to beat him in the next tournament. i doubt anything i say gives up too much though.

It doesn't and really don't matter any how. A good fisherman is a good fisherman, period. I wouldn't wanna tell the exact location but most of the time he will have a flipping stick in his hand any ways.
