Having to do food plots on weekends sucks. You never seem to hit the right weather, or nice front in the immediate forecast. That may have changed as I planted close to 5 acres this past Saturday with my lovely bride along side helping me switch implements. Looks like a great forecast with heavy rain tonight. I hope you guys get a good soaking, Tim

Tell me about it, changing implements all the time is no fun at all. After 3 different food plot jobs in 3 different counties, I'm bushed!!

We have a 3930 also, great tractor.

You did good. Really glad we didn't plant anything until Sept. 10.

Over past 8 days have seen two thirds of ours get planted. Still have a good bit to go, hopefully all will be planted before Oct 10. Great timing for all who finished in past week.
 
Planned on drilling the rest of mine Saturday but could not get the drill reserved until this Wednesday. Doubt it will be dry enough to get in. Oh well, I have 60% already in.
 
I got mine in the first and got that 4 inches the first week. Few showers since and rain coming almost every day this week. I checked them Sat and its looking good. GOing to be the best September growing conditions we have ever had in 4 years we have owned it...got pics of deer already eatting in the plots!
 
Put sum weight on that cultipacker !!!!! ;) Got one just like it , except it is not in near as good of shape !! Noisy bastards !!!!
 
put mine in last week and got over an inch of rain sunday night on the plots.... congrats to all who got this rain my house in fayette co got over two inches of rain
 
hey bowguy. i got mine in the same as you before that big tropical storm and have not seen them yet. we got 2" yesterday too. do you have any pics you can put up?
