Bought some HSS Lifelines today at Dunhams. Very easy to use and works great ( I tried it at the bottom of my tree) . They provide the safety I wanted for me and my daughter in a 16 ft Buddy Stand.

I have to much to live for to risk being in a tree without being strapped in. Also a good way for my daughter to learn tree stand safety.

Good luck to all and please be safe!!!

I use their similar system, with the prussic knot, for my tree safety strap for my climber.
Very secure.

I picked up a couple of the Muddy lifelines to use this year with some hang on stands on the lease. Looking forward to trying them out. Glad to hear they are working well for you.

I made one with 5/8 inch derby rope and some smaller rope for the prussic knot. just made sure rope would hold more than my weight and added a caribiner to attach the loop to my harness. about half the cost of a HSS lifeline
