Lost Lease!

Lost my Turkey Hunting Farm! Only took 2 toms off of it last year! Had a 30 pound bird at 40 yards last year with a bow. I was hopeing to take him with a shotgun this year! Maybe the owners kid will get him! :cry:

I've seen a lot of turkeys in my life and I ain't able to weigh without putting my hands on them with a scale.

Ive killed several 25lb birds and this one makes them look like chickens! First time i saw it, I thought it was a hooded feeded then it turned! huge fan!

I'm curious I've never hunted or participated in a lease.... do the landowners not give incumbent leasees the chance to match incoming leasers price if they choose so?

That's one of the downsides to a lease...especially when your plans are devoted to that particular place and you lose it just before season opens. I lost my turkey hunting several years ago and haven't been bird hunting since. I hope you find you another spot soon.
