Looking for best rangefinder..

Seen so many and few have reviews I trust.

Anyone have hands on experience with Halo or Vortex or Sig or Leupold lines?

Need to be pointed in some direction...

I was in your shoes in the last month. It came down to a vortex 1800 and sig 1600. I truly wanted the sig but would have had to order it, and academy had the 1800 in stock. The vortex has a lifetime warranty and the sig I think has a 5 year. So far I like the vortex, but I've only had it about a month.

couple things I wanted were to range a deer around 700-1000 yards. I didn't want the black read out. And it needed to have the angle adjustment.

Leupold I've had mine for four years, use it a lot. I've never changed batteries. I've never had a single problem. When it comes to optics im a leupold guy. It would be hard to change my mind.

I have a leupold 1600? That I really like. I also have a Nikon 550? That I gave to the wife. The leupold is hands down the superior of the two. That's my only experience with laser rangefinders but if either of the two quit tomorrow, I would likely buy another leupold.

Leupold here also, not sure if you are bow hunting or not but I would recommend to buy one with the Angle compensator.

I have this one. Compensates for angle using rifle, bow, or muzzleloader. I have had it two years and it has been flawless. Battery life is superb.

Leupold 600 here. Works for me and my area. Leupold has always stood behin their products. I'll support them until they give me a reason not to.

I've had a Leupold RX-600 for 10 years. Never a problem until I took it to the golf course recently and parts of the numbers were faded. I figured it was the battery since I've never changed it, but 2 new batteries did the same thing. I'm sending it back tomorrow for repair. I have no doubt Leupold will take care of the problem. If I had to buy another one it would be another Leupold.
