Becki bought a Parker Side Kick extreme. It's a good shooting bow. At 40lbs. it's shooting almost as fast as my bow at 63lbs.

We got it with a WB, sights and quiver for 307 out the door with a lifetime warranty.
 
Mission Menace all the way! GREAT bow, and tons of adjustment in it.

My wife shoots a Hoyt Rintec XL. ton's of draw length adjustement as well as draw weight. Wait til season is over and I know of one that will go cheap!!
 
The best one I've seen for women and youth is the Bowtech Equalizer. It's not currently in production, but you can find used ones on AT. I'm not a Bowtech fan per se, but that little bow is awesome.
 
The Mission Menace is what my wife shoots, and my brother in law got his girlfriend a PSE Chaos. Both are nice and really adjustable.
 
My wife shoots the BowTech Equalizer and has shot some of the newer bows made for women today. She still clings to that Equalizer.

If you guys are interested in the Passion but don't want to spend the $$ for one, you do realize that the DXT is the same basic bow? Same A-A length and everything is pretty much identicle. The only real difference is the brace height. The Passion has a 6" and the DXT has a 7" and if you ask me, I would rather have the inch extra BH than the little speed increase you would get from the 6" BH. As a matter of fact I just plugged both of them into my software ballistics and here's what I got for an average woman's bow setup.

Draw Length = 25"
Draw Weight = 45#
Arrow = Gold Tip Ultralite 600 with 75 grain tip

DXT = 254 fps
Passion = 257 fps

You can get used DXTs loaded out for less than what a new bare Passion costs.

The Equalizer would be right there with those bows in speed. My wife is actually just pulling 40 pounds and shooting the same arrow as above, and her bow is 243 fps through my chrony with 5 less pounds. I put it on around 45 the other day and it was also mid 250s. Not bad for a hunting arrow setup for that short of draw and poundage. That bow with her target arrow is barely ASA legal at that same poundage. The bows birth certificate says 289 fps at 50 pounds. You can find the Equalizers used on AT but they go very fast. There was a guy from around Cleveland, TN that posted in the classfieds here that had 2 brand new ones in the box. But that has been months ago and I don't know if he still has them or not.
 
I bought my wife a Reflex Excursion. She liked it and it wasnt too aweful expensive, just in case she didnt like hunting. I have been wanting to buy her a Pink Camo Parker. They are really nice, and once again, not all the expensive either.

actually now that a couple guys have mentioned it, the equilizer is what i'm hoping to get my wife.
 
i think a good starter bow is bowtech razor ,299.00 shoots awsome not real big and heavy it even comes in pink.lol
 
I still say the Parker Side kick extreme. The draw cycle is so smooth, plus Parker has the "grow with Parker" deal. Once she is able to pull 40lbs. easy, you can send your limbs in to Parker and they will send you a set of 40-60lb. limbs for 50 bucks!

Diamond Razor Edge, awesome little bow, and all the room poundage wise you will want. My wife shoots one and killed 2 deer with her's last year. Awesome, just plain awesome, i wouldn't minde having one.
