I've been using the old style propane fish cooker forever...thinking about going to an electric of some sort. Normally just cook enough fish for 2-4 people so not looking for a hugh/expensive cooker. Any recommendations?
Yep, works perfectly and you don't have to worry about your oil going from 150 degrees to flippin 800 degrees while you aren't looking.The FryDaddy is what we use.

That looks like really well designed.This one is hard to beat.it has two separate heating element. I can cook fries or hush puppies at the same time as the fish! But you can also only use one side if that is all you need.

I can cook about 10 bream fillets at a time. After the first couple dumps you get caught up with your eaters pretty quickly.
