I've got the itch to go striper fishing. I have never been and went to learn about them. If anybody in the sumner county area has a spot on the boat I will pay fuel cost and take you whitetail hunting on my property. I killed 3 very nice bucks this year. Ranging from 132" to 158". It is archery only. We do not gun hunt this property. Pm me if any one is interested. Thank you.

Well I've got the boat, you find someone with the knowledge to catch them and we'll go. I've got limited knowledge with them depending on the time of the year.

I'll put the feeler out. I grew up just outside Daytona beach. Spent many years on the big water sport fishing and on the St. John's river catching monster largemouth. I've been reading on the striper and this month and next are supposedly the best time to catch them. Folks say Percy priest has some big ones. I would think old hickory would produce them too. I have a big cast net so we can get bait.

My number is 615-973-9890

here in east tennessee i live about 10 minutes away from Boone lake and in the next month or so you can go to Boone dam and walk the rip rap bank and catch all you want on zara spook or thunderstick in the daylight hrs or a hour before dark till after dark....i had one evening a couple yrs ago i caught 18 rockfish and hybirds in the 6-12lb range all on topwater!!!!!!! hit me up sometime if you wanna come this way and we will hit it!!!!

Contact me later in the spring when they are a little more predictable, location wise and we'll hit JPP if you'd like. We can troll umbrella rigs or live bait, whichever you prefer.

Or we can hit the Gallatin Steam plant any day. It's a hit or miss proposition there. Some days it's hot, somedays it's not. I've got all the gear and the boat. Plus I'm retired so I can go anytime.

Text me, Merv Johnson, 615-635-3783 or email me at [email protected].

Come and join up at FishingTN.com. Great site, lots of good fishermen and lots of information. My username on that forum is agelesssone. I'm on it every day.

Thanks for the reminder on signing up for that site. I tried before, but my registration never went through because I didn't send TK an email (I guess he has a lot of spam applications).
