looked at the FPB's and the SST's

The SST's do look exactly like the shockwaves,,,is there a difference except in price???,,,the FPB's had a problem with 3 different packages I looked at,,,the concave bases on several in each package had been collasped in,,,I don't think this is a good thing.

yes, only difference is the price and sometimes the sabot.....the bullet is identical

I do not know about the shockwaves, but I am convinced the Hornady sst 300gr w/ the low drag sabots are very accurate (see my older thread on the sst)...and if you will look at some older threads you will find evidence that they will do a real number on a deer...

as far as the FPB's I have an older thread on those as well...they are true to advertising but you better make sure that they fit your barrel before you buy alot of them...

second...you are absolutely right...range time is where the finaly decisions should be made. A pack of each and some shooting will allow your guns to tell you what they like the best...I was really hopeing that I would have no issues with the FPB's...they look awsome and I REALLY love the concept of NO sabot. Unfortunately my Remington Genesis would not except the FPB's, but luckly my HR Huntsman did and LOVED them...
