Not him, but unless something has changed he is shooting a Winchester 1300 nwtf with a 24?" Barrel I dont remember thechoke

Because if he's shooting a Winchester 1300 it only has a 3 inch chamber. And I asked him in my earlier post what Long Beard load that was and he didn't say.

then maybe his range finder was off, all I'm saying is why does it really matter? I give the man the benefit of the doubt that he was being truthful in his intentions. If thats not the case thats on him.

that is a 3 inch shell at a taped 40yrds dont care if you dont belive me. and i used a pie plate which was little shy of 10"

Hold on guys. I never came out and called him a liar. But the best 40 yard patterns that I've seen posted on the hunting forums with the new Long Beard 3 inch #6's have barely broken 200. If his setup is posting 260+ at that distance he's at the front of the line when it comes to this particular load. I haven't seen a 3.5" Long Beard #6 put up those numbers. My apologies if I ruffled any feathers but it appears he has found the ultimate gun/choke combination for this 3" load.

I just posted a pattern a few days ago of one going 221!? I'd say that's more then "barley" I also posted a 3.5 that went 260 on a cool day so

And you are the exception, REN. So settle down. And congrats on the patterns.

Hey don't get upset with me. You basically called the guy a liar then said you had not see anything close to that which I pointed out that I have posted plenty of them on here and OG.

I'm just tied of folks calling others out in silly pattern pics when in reality who cares. It's that guys gun and reputation so if he is lying then that's on him. That may not have been your intention that's just how I read it so if I'm wrong I publicly apologize to you.

You read it wrong, Ren. I even replied that I was not calling him a liar. Grizzly will vouch for me being an ok guy. And once again, my apologies for ruffling any feathers. I'm just really impressed with Winchester's new Long Beard loads.

Maybe some things are being read into more than what they were intended.... All is good guys.... let's just keep it all civil. We are all after the same goal this spring.... I'm even impressed with that pattern and would question the details as well, just to be sure.

Moving right along.....

Everybody keep posting up their patterns with this stuff! Man, that is awesome for a 3 inch shell at 40. I have just enough xtended range to get me thru this spring, then I am testing this stuff in my Remington 870 super mag with a 660 jellyhead and would be thrilled at anything over 175 in a pie plate at 40.

nice patteren!! im getting 190's with lonbeard 3in #5 when I get some good pice ill post them up, the ones I took with my phone you couldn't really tell anything
