Long range shooting

Anyone shoot around Nashville? If so, public or private ranges and at what distances?

Been shooting for a little over a year now and wanting to start shooting more often. Our current range is all the way in north west TN.

I love me some long range steel banging,,it might be closer to Rockcastle from where you are,,S.E. looks like a nicer range though,,,

Ive heard of SE, but never been there.

I use to belong but the range was not set up for the type of shooting that I do. It is a top notch facility and the owner, Tony Shankle, is a real stand up guy. I believe he even offers reduced membership cost for those living farther away. One could easily make a mini shooting vacation and stay at nearby Henry Horton Park which incidentally has a skeet and trap range as well as a golf course too. Not extremely far from Nashville either.

Montgomery County Shooting Complex only goes out to 400 yards if I remember correctly. <2nd hand information from my brother, so I might be wrong.

I contacted them and was told their range IS 400 yards. I haven't been there, so I'm thinking I'll plan a trip just to see it.
