I've got a spot I was thinking about putting 12 or more decoys on 1 line with a big anchor. Maybe 2 like that for a place that has water too deep for single line decoys, anybody ever do that/ got any advise or info?

Done it for divers before. I used the 4 inch clips with swivels and poly rope with old school window weights at the ends. Worked great for divers. We took ours in and out everyday so it worked best with 2 people putting them out.

The rigs I put together were 1/4" rig em right line (doesn't float), 5" tuna clips, 1/8" rig em right decoy line for the drops and slide on barbell weights. Rig Em Right products are available at numerous places, the tuna clips I got at Knutsons but I've seen them at other places and the weights I picked up at a flea market.

A lot of good advice above, it certainly works for divers and can make picking up easier. A catfish trotline can work pretty well, just make sure you dont get floating line. Use a 3lb anchor and you will be set. Did this a lot on Tampa Bay and other large deep water lakes.
