Logging road plots

I know the general consensus will be clover, but which blend works the best in these semi-shaded areas? We have durano clover in all of our food plots, so I am kind of wanting something a little bit different. Any suggestions?

I bet an annual would work better,some type of red clover,but your biggest problem will be leaf cover when they all fall.

I wouldn't bother trying to get something to grow in road-beds in summer (considering the intense shade and heavily compacted soil). I would look more at fall attractants.

Ive use winter wheat with good success.

brothrt in law and compadrays cut 50 acres 18 inches and bigger in the bottom.
Looks like a tornado came thru.
Got about 3 skid roads from back to front- one of those 3 wheel draggers. OK-- kinda wet at time bur mostly dry. Gonna as bro in law to claim one skid road for a plot. -what buckwheat and clover or clover mix?- it cN FLOOD 2 FEET IN THE SPRING OR SUMMER FOR 1 WEEK AT A TIME.

MAN- GOT SOME 48 INCH DIAMETER STUMP SLABS OF CYPRESS TREES OUTA THERE FOR WOOD TABLES OR SOMTHING.
