Lodging around Yellow Creek (Pickwick)

I have a buddy that will be fishing a bass tournament this weekend and he is looking for suggestions on lodging (cabin, hotel, etc) within 5-10 minutes of Yellow Creek (State Landing boat ramp). I am not a big fisherman, but I told him you guys would point me in the right direction, so let's hear it. Any and all suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Last time we fished in that area we was looking also.We just got a camp spot at Pickwick landing.Nobody had tents either.We got there,went to supper in Savannah,got back to camp and crashed in the truck with the seats back.Pretty good sleep lol.

Hampton Inn is the closest to Yellow creek. State Park by the dam has a hotel and Lil' Andy's in Counce

The inn at the state park might be best bet. It has free hookups for him to charge batteries or anything else needed. Would be the safest in my opinion as far as not having to worry about stuff getting stolen out of the boat.
