Ten out of the top 11 are from TN. Most of the top 5 are close to home! Looks like the anticipated deep bite is holding up for those in the know! The next 2 days will be interesting for sure! Hopefully ol Smiley or Ott or maybe even Mauldin will put the feather in their hat!

If he did, he broke the rules. It can happen though, but Martin is actually a pretty dang good fisherman.

Congrats to Rogne and Tim on a good finish. Two of the best deep water fisherman this area will ever see. I've never heard of the guy that won it.....

Same here Todd I dont know him either. Smiley was telling me that he (winner) found these fish and got entered just a couple days before the tournament somehow, Tim even mentioned before the tournament that he obviously got in for a reason! Appears he was right! I was pulling for Tim as he knows Douglas as good as anybody, especially the deep water fishing!
 
I have known Rogne for a few years. I have fished against him and I have fished with him. He is the most consistent fisherman I have ever seen. He doesn't always win but he does almost always finish in the money.

The man is good.

Exactly, as is Tim, he too definitely gets his share. I traveled and roomed with him and Jackson for a few years and there was never any danger in going hungry!
