in 2 weeks goin to a match that is 10 small water balloons ,about like a medium egg,at 300 and 400 yards,,you get 3 minutes for sighters then 10 shots for 10 balloons at 400 then repeat at 300,,this is the load I am gonna shoot in the Stiller 6mm BR-DX,,probably gonna shoot 105 Berger VLDs and H4895 in the Farley with the 6BR barrel and gonna shoot my CZ527V 223 with 69 SMKs in factory class at 200 yards,,

the Sightron scope`s hash marks are 1.5 MOA apart on 32X and I was holding something like 1 to 1.25 MOA right to dead on when the wind died,,I drew the target with a marker around a 1 inch washer so if I can repeat that I should be able to clean the rack at 300,,400 may be a little harder,,

in case of a tie you shoot 3 shots for group for the tiebreaker,,

cant wait,,last year I didnt have my own flags and hit 9 and gonna be disappointed to miss the shootoff this year,,

targets from today,,10 shots with no sighters

Mr. Big do you use the same load for 100 yd as you do for 300 and 400? I thought about experimenting to see if I could get tighter groups at certain yardage with specific loads.

Good luck man, I admire you guys that still take the time to do this. I don't take enough time anymore and just find a load that will get me an inch or better at 100 yards with an acceptable velocity and I am good to poke a hole through an animal.

I bet no one has prepared any better. Good luck, you know I`m pullin for ya!!!

I was gonna shoot the 243 bblon the Stiller but the Brux BR-DX wont let me,,hopefully I can read the wind good enough that the 250 fps loss wont bite me,,I may shoot the PPC at 300 and switch bbls and shoot the BR at 400,,testing my 68 gr PPC load the other day in nasty wind at 300 the PPC had the best verticle of any load I ever shot,,period,,but I was getting groups 5-6 inches wide if I ignored the wind and just shot ,,did get a couple around and inch when i really bared down and doped the wind best I could,,but I have shot less than .500 5 shot groups with the BR bbl on the Farley at 300,so I will shoot the PPC at Gallatin this w/e and then switch to the BR for next w/e..

still dreaming about switching bbls on the 40X,,,think I will go straight 6BR zero freebore 14 twist on it and go with the BRAI 40* with full length neck on my next 8 twist,,

I actually have different barrels for each distance,,I dont think there is a load that would be the BEST for every distance,,
