Little beginners luck

Just started attempting to trap after I saw a black coyote on camera. So far I've caught a fox, bobcat and a red coyote. This is fun

Great beginning! What kind of set are you making, what traps, bait/lure? Nice work

I don't really know the answers to those questions. I just try to make sure there's a pinch point as far as entrance. Can only enter from one way. And I have tool from Fleming. Then I've used a couple of different baits from them. The cat had some duck wings with the bait

Nice! I have 2 red foxes making me crazy and won't commit to the trap. Cameras on sets helps to understand but also is frustrating good job!

Over the last couple of days I've caught a coon and 3 opossums. Making it safer for the quail daily

Your either very lucky or a natural. Congratulations. What do you do with your catches? I like seeing the pics, getting a little old to do the work that trapping takes. Plus I have no idea what to do with the animals.

I'm taking mine to a taxidermist to have the pelts tanned.

If you cure the pelts I would recommend sending them to Moyle Mink to have tanned
